20 Years and Counting!!!!

We can hardly believe it has been 20 years since QI opened its doors. When developing Quality Interactive Montessori, our mission was to create an environment where children learned to love learning! By word of mouth, news spread about QI and we grew from 6 students to 48 students our first year. In 2009 our owners decided to move from their home and create another preschool room and an elementary room, thus giving QI a toddler room, two preschool rooms and an elementary room at 56th Street. Again, word began to spread, and we needed to expand again! Fall 2011 space was rented at the former Arroyo Middle School to house our new Kindergarten program and our Lower Elementary class. In January 2012, we added an infant room, resulting in one of our preschool rooms relocating to join Kindergarten and Lower Elementary at Arroyo Middle School.

With more and more families recommending QI another expansion was needed. In August 2012, QI opened QI Montessori at Spur Cross. The Spur Cross location is now home to a toddler room, two preschool classrooms, Lower Elementary 1st- 3rd grades, Upper Elementary 4th – 6th grades and our new Middle School grades 7-9. Our 56th location currently houses an Infant room, Toddler Room and two Preschool classrooms.

QI was sold in February 2022 to Small Miracles Education. With the sale, they have created a partnership that has allowed QI to grow and expand. In the first joint venture between QI and Small Miracles Education we opened a 3rd QI location in Anthem in November 2023. The building process was a true family effort. There are special touches throughout the building from everyone that helped us. QI Anthem has classrooms for infants, toddlers, preschool and kindergarten.

Twenty years, five buildings, seventeen classrooms and hundreds of students later, we are excited to have you and your family as part of our school’s history and growing family. We cannot thank you enough for all of the love, support and recommendations over the past 19 years. Without YOU, QI would not be what it has become.
