Stanford 10…April 2014 Results

Our Elementary classes take the Stanford 10 test twice a year.. once in the fall and then again in the Spring. The results have come in from our Spring testing and I wanted to take a moment to share the information with our families. Listed below are the grade level of the children who took the test and then there is a breakdown of each category by grade equivalent (remember there is only 9 months of school in a year). The chart below shows our class averages…compared to private schools…across the US.

So for example…In reading, our 1st grade class average came in at a 4th grade, 9th month level, or 2nd graders came in at a 8th grade, 1st month level, our 3rd grade class came in at a 6th grade, 7th month level and our 4th graders came in at 6th grade, 6th month level.

As you look through this chart you will find that the students of QI did very well! We are very pleased with the results. I personally, would like to thank the children, teachers and parents for all the hard work and dedication that has been applied to help make QI Montessori such a great school..where academics, personal grow and recognition, kindness to others and a love of learning is strived for on a daily basis.
