Specializing in small group education for infant, toddler, preschool, kindergarten and Grades 1-6.
The love of learning isthe core of Montessori values. Speaking and acting with kindness, integrity and respect is our top priority. In a Montessori environment, each child is on his or her own educational journey. We are a highly academic school that provides a safe and nurturing environment for your child’s growth.
Over the years we have had many questions about Montessori and why the children are doing certain works; so we have decided to share the importance of Montessori works with our families.
We are so excited to start a brand new education program featuring a “work of the month” during the 2013-2014 school year. Each month different teachers at both of our campuses will pick their favorite work or works from a specific area of the Montessori curriculum. We will share a detailed lesson plan on the work and why it is so important to the child. Each classroom will have the work available in the classroom. If you have time ask your child to give you a lesson on it! We are looking forward to spreading the word about Montessori Education to our families this year! Make sure to visit your child’s classroom, so they can show you the “work of the month” and other works that they are doing.
“Parents are partners of the educational process. Maria Montessori viewed parents as the primary teachers in a child’s life. The more Montessori teachers and parents communicate and cooperate, the more the student and the Montessori school is likely to benefit.” - Maria Montessori
We would like to congratulate Ms. Kendra on taking over the Kindergarten position for Ms. Holder. We wish Ms Holder best of luck on her future Endeavors.
